If you immediately think of summer when you hear the words “Brits” and “diggers”, you should definitely read on, because this time you’re wrong. In the mountains, the volleyball season starts already in March at the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour.

Wide pistes, perfect snow, a breathtaking mountain panorama – and next to it palm trees, cheerleaders creating a great atmosphere and a volleyball centre court: how does that fit together?

This extraordinary mixture makes the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour an unforgettable event. A story with tradition, because fourteen years ago the now highly respected Snow Volleyball series started in Wagrain. This year, the snow volleyball players will once again make a stop in Wagrain-Kleinarl. On the weekend of 25th to 27th March, the valley and the mountain will be teeming with keen team players. The great thing is that you can be there live and celebrate the weekend with us. A great atmosphere at summit level is guaranteed. The competition will be held right at the new Flying Mozart mountain station at 1,850 metres above sea level.

From Thursday to Saturday the training and qualification tournaments take place and on Sunday it get’s serious! There are separate competitions for men’s and women’s teams. At the main event, the teams get to play for prize money of € 3,000 per team.

Hot sounds, cool drinks, exciting matches and the Snow Space Salzburg ski area your feet. Sounds wonderful? It is! Surrounded by the most beautiful mountain peaks that the Snow Space Salzburg ski area has to offer, a great atmosphere awaits the spectators once again this year. Because when the court in Wagrain is being banged, hit and smashed, there’s no stopping them. This event brings summer flair to winter. You definitely won’t want to miss it!

An event that can be perfectly combined with a day of skiing in the Snow Space Salzburg area. Currently, the snow is perfect for spring skiing and the 210 kilometres of slopes in Snow Space Salzburg are in excellent condition.

So, I’m already looking forward to it. I’ll round up my girlfriends and we’ll have a wonderful day of skiing together and then enjoy the “snow volleyball” competitions. It’s going to be a brilliant weekend. We’ll jump onto our skis, head up the mountain and off we go.
